Cape Town’s southern suburbs will thunder to the rhythm of pounding feet when the 2026 Top Form 10km explodes into action on Saturday, 6 June. with organisers confident the race’s move to Kenwyn will usher in a new era for one of the province’s most popular speed tests.
Known as “Your PB Race”, the event has earned a reputation as a hunting ground for personal bests thanks to its lightning-fast and pancake-flat route. This year’s edition starts and finishes at the Sports Field on Woodbury Road in Kenwyn after relocating from its traditional base in Turfhall, Crawford.
The change of venue has already generated excitement within the local road running community, particularly among athletes preparing for the Comrades Marathon a week later.

Top Form Athletics Club PRO Ameen Stemmet said the move was designed to improve the overall race experience while keeping the event’s trademark fast character intact.
“We are excited about the move to Kenwyn as our clubhouse is now based in the area and we are confident we will get enthusiastic support from the community,” said Stemmet.
“The spirit of the race remains the same. Athletes can still expect a flat and quick route through the streets of Kenwyn and Rondebosch East where personal bests are very possible.”
Stemmet added that the club had worked closely with stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition from Crawford to Kenwyn.
“Turfhall served us well for many years and holds special memories for the club, but we believe this move is the right step forward for the future of the race.”
Entry Fees and Registration
The race begins at 07:00 and is expected to attract a strong contingent of elite and social runners eager to fine-tune their legs before Comrades.

Race numbers can be collected on Friday, 5 June between 14:00 and 17:00 at designated collection points, including Chukker Road Sports Field, Hyundai Foreshore, Hyundai Plumstead and Mr K Pure and Precious Metals at Tygervalley Mall.

The first 2,000 finishers will receive medals, while water points, tog bag facilities and ablutions will be available at the venue.
Prize-giving is scheduled for 09:00.
Organisers also reminded participants that headphones and music devices remain prohibited under race rules.
If the route delivers on its promise once again, Kenwyn could soon become Cape Town’s newest home of speed, where watches beep wildly and weary legs chase glory metre by metre.
