Athlete Support Structure
About
The Western Province Athletics High Performance Athlete Support Structure has been designed to support Athletes, who have achieved an ASA Final to athletes who have represented the country at an international level. The funding support is available to assist with the DEVELOPMENT and PERFORMANCE of the athlete. Any support/funding will be dependent on the Athletes IAP/Capacity Template.
Objective
The objective of the programme is to assist with the development and performance of the athletes, so that WPA will win more medals at ASA Championships and on the international arena.
Eligibility
- U/20 Junior (18/19) Athletes
- Senior Athletes
- Achieved Criteria – TO BE CONFIRMED
- Be a South African Citizen
Funding
Funding will be allocated based on Four Tiers of Support.
- Gold A
- Gold B
- Silver
- Bronze
