18 Nov Tygerberg AC hosts Track and Field Meeting in Parow
Western Province Athletics (WPA) is pleased to announce that Tygerberg Athletics Club (TAC) will host an open track and field meeting for sub-youth, youth, junior and senior athletes after a long period of no athletics due to Covid-19 pandemic lockdown.
The athletics meeting is scheduled to take place on Friday 11 December between 18:30 and 21:40 at the Jan Burger Sports Grounds (Parow track).
All athletes are welcome to compete in this meeting. Due to the length of the meeting (3-4 hours) only the events indicated on the enclosed event program can be accommodated and you are invited to enter accordingly.
Entry procedures to be strictly followed (as per ASA guidelines)
• Entries will be on a pre-entry basis only. No entries will be accepted after the entry closing date and time.
• Clubs/Schools will receive a TAC entry form on which the pre-entries need to be done.
• Entry forms have to reach TAC’s office by e-mail before 13h00 on Tuesday 8 December 2020. No late entries will be accepted after
closing. (e-mail for entries to be send exclusively to Mariana Meyer: coachmariana@mweb.co.za). Do NOT use the email addresses in the
footer of this letter for purposes of entries. Entries sent to the wrong e-mail address will not be processed.
• Entries will be confirmed by a return e-mail by TAC after the entry form and proof of payment of your entry fee is received.
• All athletes wishing to enter must be in possession of a 2020 ASA/TAC license number (permanent or temporary). Athletes who are not registered for the 2020 year will be allowed to buy a temporary license number from TAC office in the week prior to the meeting. The
temporary license will then be valid for this specific meeting ONLY.
