Run for Cancer at the Phoenix Athletics Club 10km Challenge

The Annual Phoenix Athletics Club 10km Challenge organized by Phoenix Athletics Club will take place on Saturday 30 November 2019.

This event is held under the rules and regulations of ASA and Western Province Athletics starts and finishes at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) at the Bellville South campus.

The fast and flat 10km race starts at 06:30. There also an option of a 5km Fun Run starting at 07:30.

The 10km cost R60 for licensed athletes. Unlicensed runners pay R100.

Entry fee for licensed juniors is R30. Unlicensed juniors will have to fork out R50.  The Fun Run cost R30 for adults and R20 for runners under 19 years of age. Entry is free for participants aged 70+

Race day entries available between 5:00-6:20.

 R10 of all entry fees will go to the CANSA foundation in support of all those suffering with cancer.

Cansa will be doing a sunscreen activation. CANSA merchandise will be on sale.

Clubs are welcome to setup their gazebos but will need to be there before 5:30am.  Halaal food vendors as well as a barrista will also be there on the day.
